The Manual redux on big Web pages much more readable and can be printed out like I done.
Be sure to check print preview before printing as the last couple of pages do not need to be printed for each section. I ended up with 35 pages total for all sections.....See it Here

Good info - but on first glance, I didn't see the D40 in the charts listing which functions work with which camera... Is there a more recent chart? Thanks.
Nope there isn't. Too Bad since they did a great job on older stuff.
