Ken Rockwell's Nikon D40 User's Guide

This lengthy article will teach you to be an expert on the Nikon D40's controls and menus. It also includes a lot of tips, tricks, and the settings I prefer to use. To get great photos you still need to get yourself to the right place at the right time and point the camera in the right direction, which is a lot harder than mastering the D40.

Isn't this article WAY out of date? Like by almost 2 years!

Well it is not about freshness it's about helpful resources as people are still buying D40's.

It may be Old to you but not necessarily to someone that just got a D40.

I have a D40, absolutely the best camera I ever owned, I bought a 18-200 mm lens, and that has got to the best ever. you actually capture "soul", which you definately don't get on the small point & shoots. BTW, what has happened to Ken Rockwell all his sites seem to be down

Question:
why are Nikon D-40 images only 6x10" x300ppi when opened in photoshop?
Those of us who shoot images for publication that go to press always need 300 ppi at reproduction size. If I need a full page image for a 9"x12" page how do I get that.

I have no idea what a google acct is
